You meet in a tavern...
You saunter into the local watering hole with purpose. No one can reach the (creative) peaks you desire to climb alone. You need help. So you peruse the bar.
While many fine mercanaries (of the written word) have caught your eye none so much as a gentelman regaling those near him with facts about history that few know (and perhaps fewer ask for).
Listening in you find him both knowledgable and quick witted, with strategic, if not unorthodox views on (creative) problem solving.
You hear he is experienced, still hungry to learn, and adaptable in a pinch. Truly he seems the perfect new addition you're looking for.
So you go and talk to him...
